Open Enrollment Cancellation & Reschedule Policy:

 

Cancellation or Changes by Student

  • Cancellations and Reschedules are determined based on the first day of class.
  • Reschedules more than 10 full business days from the start date of class can reschedule at no charge.
  • Reschedules 10 or fewer full business days from the start date of class are considered Cancellations and charged 100% of the total class fee. If students wish to re-enroll in a future class they will need to pay the full course fee again.
  • No-Shows (student who does not attend class) are considered Cancellations
  • Notice of Cancellation must be provided in writing to the Salesperson and registrars@ascendientlearning.com.
  • A full refund will be issued for class cancellations made with more than 10 full business days from the course start date.
  • Cancellations, Reschedules made 10 or fewer full business days from the start date of class and No-Shows are charged 100% of total class fee.
  • All cancellation fees are due on net 30 days from the date of the cancellation or rescheduling by you.
  • Cancellation fees are non-refundable and cannot be applied to future classes, enrollments, products or services.
  • Student substitutions are allowed with a minimum of 2 business days’ notice before the class begins. Substitute students will be bound to the same Terms and Conditions as the original enrollment.

Cancellation by Vendor

  • If it is necessary for Ascendient Learning or one of its partners to reschedule a class, at least a two-week notice is normally provided. In the event of a cancellation, a full course refund is issued. Ascendient Learning and its partners are not responsible for non-refundable travel fees incurred as a result of these cancellations.

Taxes

  • When you purchase any Service or product from Udacity, you agree to pay not only the applicable fee, but also all applicable sales, use, value added, transaction taxes, or other government-required fees and charges that Udacity determines it is required to collect (“Taxes”). Please note that Udacity will calculate the “estimated Taxes” at checkout and that, upon confirmation, you may be responsible for a different total. All applicable taxes are calculated based on the billing information you provide us at the time of purchase. You hereby authorize Udacity to modify and charge any Taxes owed by you upon confirming the tax rate. Please also note that where VAT collection is required, if any, VAT will be calculated and added at checkout. You hereby agree to indemnify and hold Udacity harmless against any and all claims by any tax authority for any underpayment of any Taxes, including, without limitation, VAT, and any related penalties and/or interest.

US Export Compliance Regulations

  • PROHIBITIONS. Certain Content or Services may be subject to financial sanctions or export control laws, regulations and orders of the United States or other countries (collectively, “Restrictions”). You will not directly or indirectly export or divert any Content or Services to any individual, third party or country where such export or financial transaction is prohibited by Restrictions. You agree that You are responsible to obtain any license to export, re-export, or import as may be required. In addition, You represent and warrant that You are not named on any government listing of denied parties, including, but not limited to, the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (“OFAC”) list of Specially Designated Nationals; that You are not a citizen of, or residing in, the countries embargoed or sanctioned from time to time pursuant to OFAC regulations and laws related thereto, or the Export Administration Regulations of the U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security. You certify that You will not transmit or deliver in any way any of the Content or Services to denied parties or to countries or nationals of countries in violation of Restrictions.
