  • There is a focus on implementation considerations for PeopleSoft Asset Management throughout this course, along with asset depreciation, asset accounting and reporting. Students learn how to manage both capital and operating leases as well as define and maintain parent-child assets. Integration of Asset Management with other PeopleSoft applications is explored. Through detailed activities, participants learn how to configure the system and process transactions for asset depreciation, allocations, capital acquisition planning and tracking, like-kind exchanges, and tax reporting. Students will learn to defin the asset management structure, add assets and perform asset maintenance, process depreciation and period-end close, inquire and report on asset information, integrate asset management with other PoepleSoft applications, and set up and maintain capital acquisition plans.
