Overview

Course Description

AI agents are moving beyond chat into real transactions. The Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP) is an open specification that gives AI agents a deterministic, programmatic way to complete purchases on behalf of human buyers with no browser automation required. This agentic AI course teaches developers the architecture, lifecycle, and security model of ACP, then walks them through implementing both sides of the protocol: the seller Checkout API and the agent-side Delegate Payment flow. Learners leave with a working understanding of how to build, integrate, and extend agentic checkout experiences.

Skills Gained

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Trace a checkout session end to end, from buyer intent to order confirmation
  • Build the seller-side Checkout API that the spec requires
  • Tokenize and constrain payment credentials using Delegate Payment
  • Use capability negotiation to match agent and seller features before checkout
  • Secure integrations and troubleshoot common checkout failures
  • Process order lifecycle events through webhooks
  • Prepare product feeds and complete the ChatGPT merchant certification
