Course Description

Build agent-driven commerce flows through the Agentic Commerce Protocol, from checkout to fulfillment. ACP fundamentals cover the design principles, the three roles of buyer, agent, and seller, the agentic checkout and Delegate Payment flows, and how ACP differs from MCP and traditional e-commerce integrations. The checkout-session lifecycle covers trust boundaries and data flow, the API-Version request structure, session states and transition rules, fulfillment options, and the create/retrieve/update endpoints. Delegate Payment, security, and capability negotiation cover payment tokenization, vault tokens, allowance constraints, bearer-token authentication, transport security, HMAC verification, PCI compliance, capability declarations, intersection semantics, and the extensions framework with the Discount extension as a concrete case. Webhooks, order lifecycle, and ChatGPT integration cover webhook event types, payload structure, order statuses and transitions, retry, instant checkout, merchant onboarding and certification, product feeds, and pre-launch conformance testing. Hands-on labs produce an agent checkout client, a Delegate Payment implementation, the Discount extension, webhook handlers, and a ChatGPT-ready product feed.
